Seymour Duncan與 Rick Turner聯手設計acoustic樂器擴大器，一起製造了帶有美麗聲響的小玩意。公司推出的第一個產品是D-TAR Solstice。雙通道立體聲/混音前級擴大器，是設計來混合不同的訊號，包括木吉他拾音器、轉換器、麥克風、舞台與錄音室設備等。
Solstice看起來很酷：堅固的、奶油色的金屬頂殼和彩虹般漸層紅色的前板。看上去就像60年代的快艇一樣。每個通道有獨立的輸入與音量旋鈕。
一個是超高阻抗的1/4″插孔，是給來自樂器的拾音器。另一個是麥克風的標準XLP插孔。XLR插孔有15伏特的電源與20dB pad。如果你插入一個TRS立體聲電纜進入任何樂器，Solstice會自動分配獨立的頻道。不需要任何 Y 接頭導線。
Solstice的EQ部分很值得一提。每個通路有三個旋鈕，你可以以用它來做整體的音色塑造，而不是做聲波的大手術。儘管如此，每當你使用EQ時，它總是能立刻帶你感動。
這是很出色的設備，獨立聲道混音前級，立體聲的Solstice有很優秀的功能而且非常實惠的價格。它可以同時接受多達四個訊號，你會很高興的使用你的吉他來結合內置的麥克風或者拾音器。在舞台上或錄音室，Solstice都能很輕鬆而且忠於原味的帶出你木吉他的音色。
