Seymour Duncan 新推出的Palladium 破音效果器是第一個真正能表現出真空管音箱high gain 音色的破音效果器。Seymour Duncan替Palladium設計了一個不同於以往效果器概念的電路架構，你可以直接使用Palladium輸出至power amp，或是輸出至吉他音箱的clean channel，即可創造非常標準的high gain音色，或是你可以使用Palladium讓你的破音音色再更緊實些，或讓你的solo增加延音和銳利度。
Palladium具備三個層次的破音，一個Gain旋鈕用來控制整體的飽和度，一個Resonance旋鈕控制低頻增益的頻率，和一個Boost可在原本的音色上增加增益和毛邊，這三個破音控制可讓Palladium輕鬆勝任從經典搖滾到現代金屬音色，Palladium配備細緻的EQ控制，中頻可調整頻率，可配合任何音箱上的設定。
